REMINDER: Holiday Shipment Outgate Request

ATLANTA, GA

Your partnership is key to ensuring a strong start to 2026, not just for our terminals, but for the entire supply chain. By increasing outgate activity and picking up dwelling shipments, you help us keep freight moving, reduce congestion, minimize on-terminal driver dwell, and deliver more capacity to the market. These effortsnot only benefit Norfolk Southern but also benefit you and your customers as well as the broader marketplace.

 

When and where we need the most support:

  • At International facilities, specifically Appliance Park, Kansas City, Landers, and Sharonville
  • The days leading into New Year’s holiday; with an increased focus on Monday, 12/29 and Tuesday, 12/30.

 

How you can help:

  • Maximize and expedite pickup of all shipments available at the aforementioned facilities.
  • Whenever possible, visit our facilities during non-peak hours (5pm to 8am weekdays and all-day Saturday and Sunday) for a speedier experience and to assist in balancing terminal flow.

 

At-destination shipments can be viewed in AccessNS using the Grounded reporting in the At Destination widget on the dashboard. We appreciate your future efforts and assistance.
