8/19 UPDATE: Potential Canadian Work Stoppage – Ingate Closure to CPKC Canada Destinations

Norfolk Southern continues to closely follow the Canadian railroad labor negotiations and actively plan for potential labor work stoppages on the CN and CPKC railroads, which can occur as soon as 00:01 Thursday, August 22.

Ahead of the potential work stoppages, NS will close ingates to all CPKC Intermodal traffic with Canadian province destinations effective 00:01, Tuesday, August 20.
