UPDATE | Potential Work Stoppages at East Coast Ports

The International Longshoremen's Association (ILA) and the United States Maritime Alliance (USMX) have reached a tentative agreement on a new master contract. This agreement prevents a potential work stoppage that was expected on January 16, 2025. In response to the agreement, effective immediately, all Norfolk Southern Intermodal facilities will resume normal gating operations for shipments billed to all east coast ports in accordance with our published service offerings.
