Harrisburg Paving Project

We would like to inform you of a scheduled pavement improvement project at our Harrisburg Intermodal Facility. The project is expected to begin Friday, August 7, 2026, or Monday, August 10, 2026, depending on weather conditions, and is expected to be completed by Friday, August 28, 2026.

 

To minimize operational impacts, the project will be completed in multiple phases. During periods when the Warehouse entrance and the lane in front of the Transportation Office are inaccessible, the Duckville entrance will temporarily reopen to maintain facility access. For your reference, a map outlining each phase of the project is shown below, with a PDF version available for download.

August 7, 10, 11

  • Phase 1 – WE Crossing
  • Phase 2 – Track 14 West End

 

August 12–14

  • Phase 3 – Track 14 East End
  • Phase 4 – I-81 Bridge / Dumpster Area to 14 East End Crossing
  • Phase 5 – Track OWB West End

 

August 17–20

Phase 6 – Track Canal / WHS Entrance

 

August 21–25

  • Phase 7 – Track OWB East End
  • Phase 8 – GI8
  • Phases 9-12 – GI8 / Duckville Entrance

 

August 26–28

  • Phase 13 – Track 18 to McClay St Bridge

 

During construction, traffic patterns and access routes may be temporarily adjusted within the terminal. We ask that all drivers and visitors follow posted signage and the directions of on-site personnel to ensure everyone’s safety, and to help maintain efficient terminal operations.

 

No shipment departure or availability delays are expected during the project. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we complete these improvements. Updates will be provided if the schedule changes due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
