Austell AGS Portal Temporary Closure

ATLANTA, GA

Within the scope of the Service Alert issued on September 23, paving continues at our Austell Intermodal facility. Related, beginning November 9, the Automated Gate System (AGS) portal at the terminal will be completely closed for a minimum of seven days while the concrete poured in that area cures. In addition, outgate lane four will also be closed for concrete curing.

 

Milling and asphalt laying will also be occurring from the entrance through the entire gate area, performed in sections.  There will be a temporary traffic pattern and signage to assist visitors, but this will adjust frequently to accommodate the shifting construction.

 

Drivers should obey all signage, maintain safe speeds, and be aware of construction crews and vehicles while visiting the facility.
