MARK DI SUVERO

Mark di Suvero is an internationally renowned sculptor who emerged from the Abstract Expressionist era. He immigrated to the United States in 1941 and began showing his steel sculptures in the late 1950s. Di Suvero often works on an architectural, monumental scale, creating spatially dynamic sculptures largely from industrial steel I-beams, each weighing many tons.
