Florida and Northern Gulf Coast Hurricane Watch

Norfolk Southern is monitoring a tropical disturbance which is forecasted to strengthen to a major hurricane (Helene) before making landfall in Florida or the northern Gulf Coast, September 26.

Currently, there are no impacted service areas and Norfolk Southern is operating as scheduled. However, high winds and heavy rains could impact rail operations in Florida, Georgia, and Alabama.
