We want to keep you informed of an operational enhancement at the Appliance Park Intermodal Facility. The site is transitioning from a chassis-provided, wheeled operation to a live-lift, grounded operation. This change is already in progress, and all inbound shipments are now being grounded-stacked immediately after being removed from railcars.
To ensure efficient pickups at the Appliance Park Intermodal Facility, drivers must ingate with a chassis when retrieving inbound shipments. The chassis may be either bare or mounted. If the chassis is mounted with an outbound shipment, the inbound container will require a live-lift so the chassis can be utilized for the outbound move.
The transition will continue through this week, and effective Friday, December 12, 2025, bare chassis drops will no longer be permitted at Appliance Park.
