Chicago Landers Emergency Water Main Repair

Beginning Wednesday, January 29 , an emergency water main repair will be conducted at the 79^th St and Talman Ave exit at our Chicago Landers Intermodal Facility located at 7540 S Western Ave, Chicago, IL 60620.

The construction will restrict access to the right side of the road on 79^th St, allowing only one lane outbound to 79^th St, turning left only (towards Western Ave). As a result, all drivers are being asked to not use extended-cab trucks to conduct business at Landers due to the turning radius with an elevated concrete median. There will be only one lane available to turn going towards Western Ave from the 79^th St exit while construction is ongoing.

The installation project is estimated to occur through Wednesday, February 5. No shipment departure or availability delays are expected as a byproduct of the construction. Drivers should obey all signage, maintain safe speeds and be aware of construction crews and vehicles while on the facility.
